About Me - Sophie Cornell

I have always been creative, and am very passionate about all forms of design. I have over 10 years of personal and commercial experience in web design and development - (I started creating things and putting them on the internet from the age of 13!)

In 2009, I graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a high 2:1 degree in Multimedia.

My first job was Marketing Executive at an e-commerce toy company in Cheltenham. Here I was in charge of marketing and keeping the web site up-to-date as well as creating all web graphics and designing promotional materials.

My second job was Graphic Designer at a Bristol based company in the Manufacturing industry. In that role, I assisted with marketing, photographed products, updated the company's websites and designed all printed materials including pricelists, newsletters and packaging.

I am currently living in my hometown, Bristol and hold a part-time Web Site Administration & Designer position with a Cheltenham based e-commerce company, helping with product design, SEO and general site maintenance via a Magento store interface. I am still also working as a freelancer and have clients based throughout the uk, whom I communicate with via e-mail and telephone.

I have carried out design work for companies based in: Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Forest of Dean, Camborne & Redruth, Penzance, Newlyn, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, Corby, London and further.
